Celebrate the dog days of summer with Dog Day Afternoon: Splash Island! Bring your pup out for a swim at Palmetto Islands County Park’s Splash Island Waterpark. This Saturday September 11th 1 -3 pm. Tickets are $10 per dog (owners pay $2 for regular park admission). Be sure to bring a leash for entering and exiting the park!
Second Sunday returns to King Street this Sunday after an 18 month absence due to COVID. From 1 to 5 pm, King Street restrictions vehicles, becoming pedestrian only to allow shops to occupy the street. This is a recurring event each second Sunday of the month downtown.
Get your fill of brunch and Bluegrass this Sunday, September 12th at Commonhouse Aleworks in North Charleston. Bluegrass Brunch features the Commonhouse exclusive Bluegrass group, Commonhouse Cats. The Cats are playing on the Commonground stage 11am to 3pm. The brunch menu offers a variety of options from Mexican to Southern cuisine.
